"Dr. Rayees Ahmad Shah has completed Ph.D. degree in Geology titled ‘Reconstruction of the Late Quaternary Palaeoclimate using Lake and Loess Palaeosol Sediments, Kashmir Valley, North-western Himalayas’ in 2019. He has a keen interest to work on environment and palaeoclimate studies using multi-proxy data. He has working experiences of AMS 14C dating, OSL dating, Diatom analysis, δ18O, δ13C, δ15N isotope analysis, organic elements, major oxides and trace elements to study Palaeoclimate and environmental pollution.
