Gowhar Rashid lone has joined the National Himalayan Cryospheric Research group in January 2022, and working as a project fellow. He has done his master’s degree in Geoinformatics from university of Kashmir. His research interests are Glacier studies. He is currently working as scientific administrative assistant in COE. He is trekker and mountaineer and has visited a number of glaciers and lakes in Kashmir valley for the collection of field based observations on different glaciers.
