Mustafa Hameed Bhat, received his Bachelor’s degree in Sciences in 2013, masters in Geoinformatics in 2017 and presently doing PhD in Geoinformatics (Glaciology). His research interests include monitoring Himalayan Glaciers using state-of-the-art Earth observation data and ground observations: modelling dynamics, mass balance and glacier velocity. He is currently working as research fellow at department of Geoinformatics and is involved in research studies concerning glacier mass balance, velocity and ice-thickness estimation and
change using remote sensing, ground observations and modelling approaches.
