With a Master's in Geoinformatics, Heena Shafi works as a Research Scholar at the Department of Geoinformatics, University of Kashmir. Her present position as a Ph.D. scholar studying Glacier Dynamics at the Himalayan Cryospheric Research Lab. Her research interests include investigations using Microwave remote sensing, in-situ observations, and Modelling techniques to examine, Glacier mass balance, and changes in glacier surface velocity and climate change impacts nexus in Kashmir Himalayas.
